Big Valley Inn
The Big Valley Inn was built in 1952. Extensive renovations have been done to the hotel making it one of the most comfortable places to stay in rural Alberta. It has a liquor store which boasts a wide variety of spirits. The tavern is bright with a beautiful view of the valley. It is nicely finished in oak and contains 2x6 tables to accommodate the comfort of dining. It has 3 VLTs, a pool table and a jukebox. It is available to rent for private functions and seats approximately 100 people.
The restaurant is also finished in beautiful oak. It seats 36 people. The menu offers a good variety of food from pizza, steak, and ribs to pasta.

Located about 9 kilometers west on Secondary Highway 590, this is a favorite spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Its diverse terrain has been the locale for international orienteering meets and Big Valley's covered wagon trek.
